Frequently asked questions

Is Mynta really free?

Yes. The free version includes expense logging, budgets, savings goals, recurring transactions, and full history. VIP unlocks extra features like Spending Trends, Smart Sort, and multi-filter search.

Where is my data stored?

On your device only. We don't have servers that store your financial data. If you delete the app, your data is gone. We can't recover it. Cloud backup via iCloud/Google Drive is coming in a future update.

Can I sync between devices?

Not yet. This is planned for a future update. Your data currently lives on one device.

How do I cancel my VIP subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Mynta → Cancel. Lifetime purchases don't require cancellation.

I lost my data after reinstalling. Can you help?

Unfortunately, since all data is stored locally on your device, we cannot recover it after the app is deleted. We recommend waiting for the cloud backup feature in a future update before reinstalling.
